Brett Miller received his Bachelor of Music in horn performance at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. His composition teachers have included Sven-David Sandstrom, Edward Largent, and Sam D'Angelo.
Mr. Miller has written works for brass and woodwind quintets, string, tuba, sax, horn, percussion, and trombone quartets, brass ensemble and trombone choir. Besides writing for chamber groups, he has composed several works for band, including a recent commission from YSU, and concertos and solo pieces for both the horn and tuba. He has also written a beginning horn method for young students in two volumes.
