This arrangement of the Concerto features a solo flugelhorn and piano, with the key modified to make it more accessible to flugelhorn players. While the original composition had arrangements for piccolo trumpet and piano, many people struggled with the high range and physical demands of the work. Ulrich's arrangement sought to address this issue, offering a technically challenging piece that showcases the beauty and versatility of the flugelhorn.
